The sleeve is the heart of the pinch valve. They are mostly hand built with fabric insertions in between two layers of rubber. The outer diameter is ground and length cut to required dimensions. This construction technique is crucial for the closing, opening and service life of the sleeve. Different elastomers are used depending on the end use.
